Growth of border passenger traffic in November

first_imgThe total border traffic of passengers at the entrance to the Republic of Croatia in November 2017 amounted to 4,6 million, which is 8,1% more than in November 2016, when 4,2 million passengers entered. The entry of domestic passengers increased by 12,5%, and foreign passengers by 5,3% compared to November 2016, according to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics.Compared to November of the previous year, the data for November 2017 show an increase in passenger entries at road and air border crossings. Passenger entry at rail, sea and border crossings on inland waterways is declining.In November 2017, the entry of passenger vehicles in road border traffic increased by 10,9%. Of that, the entry of personal vehicles increased by 10,9%, and the entry of buses by 6,7% compared to November of the previous year.
