Strategies that maximise ‘the intersection between commerce and culture’ will be examined with the help of Ellen Gilligan of the Greater Milwaukee Foundation and Kingsley Aikins of Diaspora Matters and formerly CEO of the Ireland Funds.The event is sponsored by the Irish Institute, Boston College, the US Department of State and Arts & Business Northern Ireland. Advertisement On 2 October A&B NI is running a one day conference which offers their arts members the opportunity to hear keynote speakers from leading UK charitable foundations and meet their representatives personally.The conference will feature representatives of the BBC Performance Arts Fund, Paul Hamlyn Foundation, Esmee Fairbairn Foundation, Loyds TSB Foundation for Northern Ireland, Ulster Garden Villages and BBC Children in Need.
